It’s time for Baardskeerdersbos Art Route 2019, where you can find ‘creativity in a curious place’ says artist Kali van der Merwe. The showcase will run from Saturday 27 April to Sunday 28 April, 2019 from 10 am to 5pm daily.

Kali combines composite photography, sculpture, taxidermy, video, animation and installation in her phenomenal process. She views herself as a visual advocate on behalf of wild, fragile indigenous flora and fauna, inviting people to observe, connect and become immersed in sense of wonder.
Recently Kali Van der Merwe has been working on smaller works, ”inspired by landscapes and trees I visited last year, bee portraits and bell jar sculptures.”
