Lottering on Lockdown UPDATE: 7 DECEMBER 2020: ALL PERFORMANCES AT THE BAXTER SUSPENDED FROM 19 DECEMBER 2020 UNTIL END JANUARY 2021.

Lottering on Lockdown is a new live production featuring stand-up comedian Marc Lottering at the Baxter this festive season. The material is taken from his two successful online shows, My Fellow South Africans and Another One. It will be at the Baxter Theatre from 18 November 2020 and runs until 9 January 2021.

In his unique zany style, Lottering tells us how he navigated his way through lockdown, covering several topics, ranging from Jerusalema to waiters armed with temperature guns, home-schooling and Zoom meetings.

Marc is one of South Africa’s top comedians and this year received the prestigious Naledi Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Musical (Aunty Merle).

‘’This is going to be a brand new experience for me and for the socially distanced audience.  People will be laughing with masks on – quite fabulous for those with dentures!”, says Lottering.
