There’s a party mood at the Masque Theatre in Muizenberg with two festive music productions over the holiday season. The theatre is ending 2018 with a bang with Tribute to ABBA and Christine and the Kilts.

Masque Theatre: Christine and the Kilts

Tribute to ABBA is presented by Mike McCully and the Harmonix. The show features a line-up of favourite ABBA hits, performed by a live band. Songs include Waterloo, Fernando, Money, Money, Money, Dancing Queen, Mama Mia and more. Mike McCully was the founder of the famous McCully’s Workshop band who scored the hit Buccaneer.

Christine and the Kilts play everything from Irish jigs and Scottish reels to traditional songs by Robbie Burns. With singer Christine Weir, a founder member of Not the Midnight Mass, at the helm of this show, the band boasts a repertoire that will inspire and delight Celtic music lovers. The band features Christine alongside Rayelle Goodman (fiddle player), Leon Oosthuizen (accordion player), Matthew Weir (bassist), Duncan Robinson (acoustic guitarist) and Skhumbuzo Qamata (percussion).
