Youthphemism, defined as story/speech by the youth, is a project founded by Elizabeth Gaylord, Manana Music and Siphephelo Ndlovu. These three youthful musicians come together in a collaboration with different artists to bring together a fresh sound with a taste of nostalgia.

The band is versatile in its approach, and live to share stories through their music. They’ll be appearing at @kwa Sec, NY 138 No. 52, Gugulethu on Sunday 23 April at 4pm as part of the Jazz in the Native Yards series. For this gig the line-up will include Elizabeth Gaylord and Siphephelo Ndlovu (keyboards), Ndumiso Manana (vocals) Prince Mafu (bass) and Lumanyano Unity Mzi (drums).
