Expect folk, some jazz and rock when the annual Cape Town Folk n Acoustic Music Festival returns to a sunset slot at Kirstenbosch Gardens on 12 March, 2017, from 5pm.
Musos this time round include Reg Meuross from the UK, plus Wild Lettuce, Jenny and The Jameses, saxophonist Buddy Wells, Angolan guitarist Adamu, vocalist Ezra Lingeveldt, Claire Phillips, Gavin Edwards, Jasmine Minter, David Van Vuuren, Shotgun Tori, Richard Stirton, Sonik Citizen, Tananas and the Nomadic Orchestra.
This gig is in the same slot as the Sunday Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Series, which runs until the beginning of April – come rain or shine.
If you can’t get to this gig one, then head to Cafe Roux’s two venus on the 8 and 9 March. Meuross will appear there with Gavin Minter, James Scholfield and Mark Fransman.
