Afrika Grooves TRC albumTrumpeter Mandla Mlangeni spearheads the Afrika Grooves, plus Beatenberg, Darius Brubeck and guitarists Dan Patlansky and Guy Buttery are all lined up for the Olympia Bakery Kalk Bay stage.

New York Times Best Albums of 2017 nominee and the Winner of Standard Bank Young Artist for Jazz 2019, Mandla Mlangeni, appears with pianist Afrika Mkhize, 2008 Winner Mark Fransman on accordion, clarinet and sax; plus Reza Khota on guitar, Nicholas Williams on bass and Clement Benny on drums.

Known as The TRC (The Tune Recreation Committee), the band release their latest album at The Olympia Bakery in Cape Town on Saturday, 26 January 2019 at 8pm.
