The Immigrants

A free gig for young musicians

The idea is to create a free concert for young musicians to perform, be part of the city, have fun, entertain and inspire others and to bring together diverse communities through musical talent. Sadly, some Cape Town schools, do not have music departments and/or support.

The 3 jurors include: musician Paige Mac, who has released two studio EP’s, A Moment’s Nostalgia and Let The Right One’s In – both online; renowned sound engineer and 7 time SAMA awards winner Peter Pearlson, who is a senior lecturer at the Academy of Sound Engineering; and WeekendSpecial.co.za
