LIVE tickets in South Africa will be available for their 25th Anniversary Throwing Copper Tour in the country in November 2020.
Featuring one of the world’s greatest music acts, the show promises to feature all the highlights from the multi-platinum band’s incredible 30-year repertoire. The original line-up of LIVE is Ed Kowalczyk (vocals, guitar), Chad Taylor (guitar, backing vocals), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass) and Chad Gracey (drums, percussion).
LIVE has a catalogue featuring some of alternative rock’s most iconic hits, including “Lightning Crashes”, “I Alone”, “Selling the Drama”, “The Dolphin’s Cry”, “Overcome” and “Heaven” many of which have been responsible for shaping the musical landscape for alternative rock around the globe.
This tour sees LIVE returning to the Grand Arena in Cape Town and the Sun Arena Time Square in Pretoria almost three years to the day since they opened the Time Square venue with their Reunion Tour back in 2017.
To mark the occasion, AMP Events have chosen to keep ticket prices unchanged, so fans will be able to pick up tickets for the exact same price as the sold-out 2017 shows!

The multi-platinum band from Pennsylvania have sold over 22 million albums worldwide and earned two number one albums (Throwing Copper, Secret Samadhi). Their catalogue is filled with such gems as “Lightning Crashes,” “I Alone,” “All Over You,” and “Lakini’s Juice,” which live on today as classics at rock radio.
