
The Minnesota Boychoir will travel to South Africa this June 2026 for a multi-city tour featuring collaborative performances with leading South African choirs. Led by Executive & Artistic Director Mark Johnson, the ensemble will perform in Soweto, Pretoria, Johannesburg, George, and Cape Town, joining forces with groups including the Meadowlands Chorale, Drakensberg Boys Choir, South Cape Children’s Choir, the Cape Town Children’s Choir, and Lyricos Community Youth Choir
The tour will showcase a diverse program blending American and South African choral traditions, highlighting cultural exchange and the unifying power of music. Founded more than 60 years ago, the Minnesota Boychoir has performed across five continents and is known for its artistic excellence and commitment to youth music education.
