Head to the Germiston Theatre for the All White Gospel Talent Search Auditions if you think you’ve got what it takes to be Ekurhuleni’s top gospel star.

Is gospel music your first love, do you have stage presence and are you an Ekurhuleni resident between the ages of 18 and 30? Then you might just be next in line to be crowned as the best at the first All White Gospel Picnic music talent search.

On Thursday, 26 September, the City of Ekurhuleni in partnership with the All White Gospel Picnic festival, will host a talent search at Germiston Theatre to unearth the next big gospel star.

The talent search is a precursor to the annual All White Gospel Picnic, which is a family friendly, outdoor celebration scheduled for 2 November, 2019, at Carnival City.

All non-recording gospel artists are called to come to audition for the All White Gospel star and stand a chance to win an opportunity of a lifetime valued at R150 000. The big prize will include studio-recording time, a music video and mentorship from industry leaders.

The All White Gospel Music talent search judging panel will consist of Zaza Mokheti, Kholeka Dubula, representatives from Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO); Composers, Authors and Publishers Association; and Sheer Publishing.

“We are excited to partner with the City of Ekurhuleni to find the next big gospel star right here on our backyard. We cannot wait to see the raw talent Ekurhuleni residents have to offer. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, has stage presence and appealing to all South Africans,” adds festival organiser Thulani Sicongwana.
