Tree fundi Clare Burgess will lead a Company’s Garden Trees & Design Tour at the Company’s Garden in Cape Town on Saturday, 5 November 2022 at 10am.

Culture Connect organises regular, popular tours delving deep into particular aspects of Cape Town’s history and cultural scene. The social history content will be covered by Kate Crane Briggs, founder of Culture Connect in 2012.

Expect lots of fascinating facts and beautiful trees in Cape Town’s first cultivated land of note, which was initially used for fruit and vegetables for the Dutch East India Company in 1652 During the British era. What was once a botanical pleasure garden is now a popular park in the centre of the city.

This will be the third rendition of the tour for Culture Connect.
