Concerts Connect is proud to present the Amici Quartet with Megan-Geoffrey Prins on 2 August 2020, performing in the historical Old Nectar in Stellenbosch. The online stream will start at 3.30pm with an introduction to the venue, the artists and partner organisations. The concert will start at 4pm. The programme will feature Schumann’s Piano Quintet and Dvořák’s Piano Quintet no. 2.Megan-Geoffrey Prins

The Cape Town based Amici String Quartet, comprised of Suzanne Martens, Petrus de Beer, Karin Gaertner and Peter Martens, has appeared throughout South Africa to great critical acclaim.

Megan-Geoffrey Prins (pictured left) was named as the 2019 Standard Bank Young Artist for Music and is currently a full-time lecturer in piano at the University of Pretoria.

Concerts Connect has partnered with Cape Town Concert Series, the Etienne Rousseau Theatre Sasolburg in collaboration with NWU Arts, Fish Hoek Friends of Music, kayTee Soirées, Kindlewood Soirées, Montagu Music Society, Overstrand Arts/Kunste, PE Music Society, and the University of Pretoria School of Arts in presenting this concert.
