Following the great reception to her single Already There, Joan Armatrading returns with Like, a playful offering from her upcoming album titled Consequences, which will be released on 18 June, 2021.

She will support the release with a global livestream: Joan Armatrading with Band Live from London, which streams at 8pm GMT on 31 July, 2021.

The only way to see Joan Armatrading perform in her only live gig this year will be to purchase tickets to this multi-camera event. She’ll be accompanied by bass, drums, keys and saxophone – all broadcast across multiple time zones to accommodate audiences globally.

Performing a set of fan favourites, including Me Myself I, Drop the Pilot and Love And Affection, plus some of her latest material from Consequences, the show offers a chance to experience new tracks and classics in the setting of the Asylum Chapel in London.

Consequences is Armatrading’s 22nd studio album. It’s a very different follow-up to 2018’s UK Top 30 album Not Too Far Away, and is one of her most intimate albums yet.

Recently made a CBE (from an MBE) and awarded an Ivor Novello Fellowship, she also received a lifetime achievement award from Women of the Year, as well as a similar Americana lifetime award.
