After a 40-year career, Big Concerts has confirmed that Judas Priest will be coming to South Africa for the first time, performing in Cape Town on 20 March, 2019 at Grand Arena, GrandWest, and on 22 March, 2019 in Johannesburg at the Ticketpro Dome.

Formed in the early ’70s in Birmingham, England, Priest were one of the first metal bands to exclusively wear leather and studs – a look that began during this era and would eventually be embraced by metal heads throughout the world.

Judas Priest went on to change the face of heavy metal, scooping a 2010 Grammy Award win for Best Metal Performance, plus a 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination and more.

Their current album Firepower released in March 2018 has become the highest charting album of their career. Their current sell-out shows across the world on their Judas Priest Firepower tour has kept the band in the public eye.

All presented by Jacaranda FM, Bok Radio and Channel 24. Another Big Concerts Experience.
