KAMERS Makers, South Africa’s premier artisan platform, is set to make its much-anticipated debut in KwaZulu-Natal at the ZA Fest 2024 from 14 to 17 June, 2024. This partnership marks a milestone for both entities and promises a great experience for attendees seeking inventive artisanal products.
With an expanded version of the festival this year, it will be bigger, bolder, and bursting with arts, music, and culture. The event sees the Ndlovu Youth Choir return as the headline act.
There’ll also be loads of mouth-watering delights by local food and beverage vendors. Little ones can also dive into a world of wonder in the dedicated kiddies’ zone, packed with exciting activities, face painting, and creative crafts.

Through their six national shows, KAMERS Makers fosters interaction between artisans and shoppers, amplifying a circular local economy which enriches both these small artisan’s businesses and the communities in which they operate. Makers undergo rigorous vetting and mentoring processes – ensuring consistently top-notch products. Over 21 years, KAMERS Makers has established itself as one of the continent’s premium artisan platforms, showcasing more than 2100 different Makers with not an import in sight!
The platform has launched more than 200 new Makers, many of whom have now become established, self-sustaining job creators and income providers for hundreds of people.
