The Jazz on the Vlei series returns with the start of a mini concert series. Artists you’ll get to see include the likes of The Young Visitors, Blaqpearl, Timothy Ehrenreicht featuring Tracy Butler, The Mark Williams Band featuring: Zelda Benjamin & Marzia Barry and The Winston Siljeur Project, featuring Sammy Webber & Lyle Syster. Be sure to catch the Guitar Jam Session, which closes off the live acts with loads of guitarists and guests.
The organisers aim to provide young and upcoming artists with a platform to show off their skills and to share the stage with more experienced artists. Bands are encouraged to perform their original material at the gigs. During 2017 there will three mini concerts leading up to the annual Jazz on the Vlei showcase held on 2 December.

Food & beverages will be on sale, and audiences are encouraged to support the various clothing, food, curios and art stalls who trade weekly at the Jolly Carp Organic Market. Jolly Carp is situated on Princess Vlei, entrance via Retreat hall. There is plenty of safe parking and the venue is child friendly, so the entire family can attend, parents can listen to good music while the kids enjoy the garden and it’s wonderful treasures.
