Oh Dam Cederberg area

This year’s festival is hosted by Camissa Solutions and the Cederberg Municipality,  and will once again celebrate the heritage of the Cederberg area and surrounds. Clanwilliam is one of the 10 oldest towns in South Africa and is rich not only in settler history, but is one of the areas that was inhabited by the San and the Khoi.

Clarence Ford, executive director of Camissa Solutions, believes that the causal and friendly nature of an event such as Oh Dam, which is nestled at the foot of the Cederberg Mountains, helps to attracting music and nature lovers.

“Clear starry skies, fresh mountain air, and a safe place for children, the Ramskop Nature Garden, which his host to a vast number of indigenous species of flowers… and music. That is what people come for and we take great pleasure in giving them just that.”
