Nolu Malope is the host of the new reality wedding show Married In A Flash which will be broadcast Wednesdays at 7.30pm from 11 October, 2017 on SABC 3.
Growing up in an artistic family, with both parents being musicians, actress and TV presenter Nolu Malope quickly fell in love with a career within the entertainment industry. Nolu’s career began as a commercial model at the age of 16 where she starred in an Always Ultra TV Advert as the lead. She went on to star in numerous adverts for brands such as McDonald’s, Vodacom, Budget Insurance, Love Life, L’Oreal and Home Tester Club.
Her acting career began in 2014 when she got a bit-part on Generations. This was followed by lead roles, short stories, and a supporting role. In 2014 she became the first TV presenter for One Gospel’s music talk show More Than A Song. She has served as the show’s presenter for three years.
In pursuit of her career Nolu has also auditioned for talent searches such as Popstars where she was placed top 20 in the country, SABC 1’s Media Career Guide Presenter Search where she was in the top 2, MTV’s VJ Search where she was in the top 5 along with Nomuzi Mabena and Nomzamo Mbatha and also Presenter Search On 3 where she was placed in the top 12 in Johannesburg.
The show
Married in A Flash is a wedding show where couples who have been in a long term relationship or who are engaged are given a limited amount of time and a limited budget of R75 000 to creatively plan and execute their wedding.
The couples will receive three days to plan their weddings and on the fourth day they will get married. Cameras will follow the couple as they prepare for their big day.
This is their wish come true but can they get it together long enough to make it down the aisle and be married in a flash?
