FOMO no more! For anyone who missed out on the country’s biggest and funniest comedy awards show, you need only tune into VUZU Amp on DStv channel 103 on Saturday 30 September 2017 at 8pm. The Savanna Comics’ Choice Awards (Savanna CCAs) will be aired as a hilarious TV special, opening up the awards to fans and viewers across not only South Africa, but for the first time the African continent.
This is the first year the Savanna CCAs has gone truly continental with the launch of the Savanna Pan-African Comic of the Year Award. The awards and its partners are excited to be broadcasting into Africa to showcase the incredible talent across countries like Nigeria, Uganda, Angola, Zimbabwe and Lesotho.
If you still don’t know who was awarded a Waldo across the 11 categories at the glamorous event held on 9 September in Johannesburg, we don’t want to give away any spoilers! What we can say for certain is the awards special will be an entertaining experience featuring the best highlights of the best comedy from the best awards show.
A very special moment that you must not miss is the touching and poignant tribute to the late Cyril Green, who was announced as the Lifetime Achiever recipient shortly before he passed away in July.
