4 Love is a master-class theatrical experience featuring a quartet of West End actors appearing at the Theatre on the Bay. Delena Kidd, Nicholas Waring, Claire Carrie and Donald Douglas will present six scenes from some of the most popular playwrights of the 20th century.
The four actors will play 18 parts between them, from Noel Coward in the thirties through to Harold Pinter at the end of the century via John Osbourne, Alan Ayckbourn, Alan Bennett (pictured left) and Michael Frayn.
Between them these playwrights have written over 300 plays and received nearly 100 awards, three knighthoods and a Nobel prize. From the rough and tumble of an actor’s rehearsal to the glamour of moonlight in the south of France, each scene is a classic slice of theatre by the biggest names in the playwriting business.
