Sunshine Food Co.
A teeny, friendly, bright yellow walk-in spot in Sea Point. There are only five things on the food menu; variations on the veggie burger. Bunless, in a charcoal bun, in a wrap, in a sushi roll, or a deviation – a poke bowl. All delicious!

The Courtyard Café
Overlooking Kalk Bay with indoor and outdoor options. Features a proudly vegan section on the menu which includes delicious breakfasts (think: a folded chickpea flour fluffy pancake filled with vegan cheese, topped with avo, drizzled with green herb oil), lunches and treats, including vegan cheesecake.

An ever-popular, busy venue at the Waterfront. Despite not being exclusively vegan, the restaurant boasts over 60 items on its plant-friendly menu, including vegan Butter Chicken-Style Curry Pasta, Pistachio Raspberry Ice Cream Cake and Cashew Nut Yellow Noodles.

The cool kid on the vegan block. And the place to go when you’re just craving something fast and a bit greasy. Lekker Vegan sells “gourmet junk food” which includes fab burgers, Gatsbys, nuggets, fries, chip rolls and even bubblegum ice cream. Who says you can’t eat fast food when you’re vegan?

The Kind Kitchen
100% vegan comfort food, served up in Woodstock and Constantia. The menu features a substantial breakfast menu, burgers (including a fish burger featuring a fillet of fish made from banana blossoms, nori and sea vegetables), black bean burritos, cheesy fries and choc brownies, amongst many options.
