Fine Music Radio is excited to launch a seven-part series, Creative Teen Talk, aimed at exploring and nurturing creativity and literacy in teenagers. These will be broadcast as five minute on-air inserts during Classic Breakfast at 7.15 am and then available as a 30-minute podcast on FMR’s website, from 30 June 2022.
The series is presented by Herzlia High School headmaster, educator and parent Marc Falconer.
There is also a competition element with a total of R14 000 in cash prizes. Each week FMR will be giving away R1 000 in cash to a learner plus an additional R1000 in cash for their school.

- 28 July: Episode Five: Malcolm Purkey, an award-winning theatre director and playwright.
- 4 August: Episode Six: Kate Shand, author and community arts counsellor.
- 11 August: Episode Seven: Bernhard Gueller, The Cape Town Philharmonic’s principal guest conductor.
