Art is Art Gallery at 160 Sir Lowry Road, Buchanan Square in Woodstock Cape Town, is hosting a group exhibition featuring Bräsler van Schoor, Reno Horn, Mervyn Dragsund, William Scarbrough, Driekie van Wyk and Karla Duterloo.
Titled ECLECTIKA, it runs from 16 of February to 2 April, 2022.
For the majority of these diverse artists it will not only be their first-time showcasing as a collective, but also their first-time exhibition with Art is Art Gallery. They all have their own unique style and visual language.
Paintings, sculptures, collage, mixed media
ECLECTIKA will be comprised of various artforms and mediums – these being paintings, sculptures and collage and mixed media.
The gallery is especially excited to exhibit renowned artist William Scarbrough, a talented international artist who has had many noteworthy milestones within his artistic career. Hosting and curating is the director of Art is Art Gallery, Reno Horn.
All artists exhibiting within ECLECTIKA explore their own unique point of views and modes of storytelling, so the showcase will be filled with various narratives.
Art is Art Gallery aims to provide a much-needed platform for up-and-coming, disadvantaged, established, unique and local South African talent.
