The final line-up for the upcoming Cape Town Electronic Music Festival has been revealed. The event also sees a massive 5-stage expansion for this 2017 edition of the festival. A whopping 64-strong line-up will thrill festival-goers at The City Hall for the 6th Edition, taking place from Friday, 10 to Sunday, 12 February.
Following six years of refinement, CTEMF 2017 is bigger and better than ever. Consistently adding to the diversity of music on offer, the festival has expanded it’s offering from three to five dance floors.
More stages mean more artists and this year sounds from Africa, Europe and North America will bring tropical, euphoric, dark and melodic sounds to stages in around City Hall. Local leaders will share the stage with international legends and rising stars will stand with industry icons.
A total of nine new acts have been added to the line-up including DJ Invizable, Digital Sangoma, Moonchild Sanelly, DJ Fosta & Diloxclusiv. Five acts will play on a brand new Chill Stage: Dan Tempo, Ronald Rowley, Ghost Track, Spekta and Murmur.
These additions join 55 previously announced acts including Âme, Heidi, Coldcut, Peanut Butter Wolf, Ryan Hemsworth, Jazzuelle, Youngsta CPT, Jullian Gomes, Kid Fonque, Portable, Till Von Sein, Re.You, Haezer and more.
CTEMF 2017 Stages:
The flagship CTEMF stage, the Audiotorium is situated in the heart of the historic City Hall, befitting the legacy of CTEMF. It showcases some of the world’s best artists performing in a magnificent space.
Take in the sights and sounds of Cape Town’s CBD, The Terrace Stage adds a traditional element – it’s the perfect setting for cutting loose under the sun and stars.
