Mark Haze A Tribute to Bon Jovi and the Masters of Rock will be staged at the Roxy Revue Bar at Grand West in Cape Town on Friday, 31 August, and Saturday, 1 September 2018. See this rock ’n roll show at one of three gigs.
“Rock ’n roll is a unique genre that keeps evolving and gathering inspiration from other genres. I love doing these tribute shows to pay homage to the real rock greats, who have shaped us through the years. Audiences can expect powerful, authentic versions of these songs done in our own unique way,” explains Mark.
Guitars, high vocals, the dream scream
He is currently working on a new album, but is hesitant to commit to a release date. “Between two kids (a four-month old baby girl and a five-year old boy) and a heavy tour schedule, I need to find time to get into studio. Blues, soul and rock are the zones that I work in, and the album will have that, plus some new elements. The working title for the album is AUTHENTIC Mark Haze and it will be exactly that – everything people have come to know about the real me and what drew them to my voice in the first instance. Guitars, high vocals, the dream scream – the works!”
Guaranteed to get audiences on their feet, the show features Haze and a six-piece band and promises to be a sell-out.
Mark Haze became a household name after his performance in the Idols reality talent show, and he continues to delight with his distinctive voice and style. This two-hour rock spectacular combines his previous tribute productions to Bon Jovi and the Masters of Rock, such as the Beatles, Journey and Queen.
