Red Devils on France's Got TalentPopular South African pantsula group Red Devils are currently appearing on France’s Got Talent – and charming the judges with their style!

The group comes from Tembisa on the East Rand. Formed in November 2005, the Red Devils consists of 15 active members and has been performing for 15 years.

As part of TV Yabantu’s efforts to educate, restore, promote, and support African culture, the channel took the Red Devils to Paris to participate in the France’s Got Talent show. The show is currently  currently on Episode 3, showcasing the boys’ incredible act that has taken them far in the competition.

The group delivered an energetic dance routine to Michael Jackson’s Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ – that had the judges smiling, and brought (judge) Marianne James to her feet! The winners are yet to aired – meanwhile, the Red Devils are back home waiting to share their experience with South Africa.

“It was a lifetime experience to be part of the show and also to share the biggest stage of all time with artists fro around the world. I feel it is time for Africa to rise and showcase its originality. And we thank Yabantu TV for standing strong and exposing local talent to the world,” says team leader Solly Phahlamohlaka.

Several South Africans have represented the country on the Got Talent stage across the world including Britain’s Got TalentAmerica’s Got Talent, and World’s Got Talent.

Most recently, Belinda Davids received a standing ovation from Simon Cowell on Britain’s Got Talent, following her rendition of Whitney Houston’s One Moment in Time.
