The Secret Garden Market is hosting its first Christmas Affair. Living up to its reputation for showcasing the finest local artisans, 90 traders have been hand selected for their workmanship, quality and variety ensuring you’ll have Christmas covered in style this year.
The market’s new location is at SARDA Centre on Brommersvlei Road, Constantia in Cape Town. It takes place on Saturday, 1 December, 2018, 10am to 4pm. There’ll be ample off-street parking and plenty of room to make yourself at home and enjoy the array of products on offer.
Fashion, jewellery, ceramics, home decor, more
Expect to find boutique fashion for every occasion, handcrafted jewellery, ceramics, summer apparel, home decor, candles, soaps, swim wear, succulents, handbags, cushions, rugs and more.
For the little ones there will be many an adorable outfit, handmade toy, room decoration, summer accessory and activity set, as well as a fully supervised kiddies area featuring a resident purple dragon jumping castle, craft tables, changing area and wonderful nannies to keep the kids happy and safe.
This Secret Garden Market will see a bigger food section featuring delicious burgers, pizzas, salads, hot and cold soups, vegan meals, spring rolls, macaroni, olives, handmade chocolates, ice creams, cupcakes and much more. The drinks menu will keep you cool with craft gin, local beer, champagne, cocktails, ice tea, smoothies, fresh juices, coffee and exotic teas.
Landscaper Sven Wickström
Two local musicians will also set the mood so one can enjoy seated or picnic areas, plus private nooks. Landscaper extraordinaire Sven Wickström @ Urban Jungle (083 7008540) is helping create the magical garden. Bringing with him over 40 trees, flower beds, pots, wooden creations and a whole lot of love, SARDA’S blank canvas will be transformed – prepare to be amazed!
All of Sven’s creations will be for sale, so look out for the tags on each item and give him a call to arrange delivery of your piece of the new Secret Garden!
