Created by Cape Town based designer and entrepreneur Anya Kovacs, The Ultimate Swimsuit Project is for women who want to enjoy everything summer has to offer but require a degree of physical privacy in public spaces.

Ultimate Swimsuit Project Inspired by vintage swimdresses from the 1950s this range includes three classic pieces that are timeless and elegant, with a saucy sprinkle of style and sass!

In a society that is hugely critical of the female body many women feel too inhibited to enjoy swimming in public, so The Ultimate Swimsuit Project aims to provide women with swimwear solutions that enable them to stop worrying about what they look like and to get out there and enjoy the water.

Three-quarter sleeves and a scoop neckline keep your shoulders protected from the scourching summer sun, whilst the flattering all-over ruching or fit-and-flare styles show off just the right amount of curves. The classic foundation style provides comfy bust support to the boobalicious and all around powermesh to smooth out your torso.

Made in Cape Town from quality materials, these swimsuits are lekker and local and, if you treat them right, they will last you for years meaning fewer garments ending up in landfills adding to the global textile waste epidemic.

Anya Kovacs has a diploma in Photography from Ruth Prowse School of Art and an honours degree in Gender Studies from the University of Cape Town and for the last three years has run bespoke corsetry boutique The Velvet Letter. Anya is an unabashed feminist who loves helping women feel more comfortable in their own bodies, and The Ultimate Swimsuit Project draws on her unique combination of skill sets to address a gaping hole in the women’s swimwear market.

With a current size offering of 34C to 50G in the foundation style and sizes 10 to 26 in swimdresses, The Ultimate Swimsuit Project caters to curvaceous ladies who struggle to find glamorous, comfortable swimwear in traditional retail outlets.
