There’s much expectation for T-Cross City, which serves as the launch event for the highly anticipated Volkswagen T-Cross.
The buzz is that on the weekend of Saturday, 21 and Sunday, 22 September, 201 9, there’ll be a ‘city’ built at Montecasino on Johannesburg, South Africa.
In this city, there’ll be loads of pop-up events, such as live comedy from Goliath & Goliath in association with Parkers Comedy, a rooftop party curated by Kent dubbed WEEKent rooftop party, a pop up experience of the Marabi Jazz Club and a gourmet food market and cooking demonstration run by Lesego Semenya (aka Les Da Chef).

The WEEKent Rooftop Party line-up includes DJ Kent, DJ Speedsta, DJ Milkshake, DJ Fresh and others. Here’s you’ll get to soak up the sun on a custom-built deck overlooking T-Cross City.
The Golaith & Goliath in association with Parker Comedy Club lineup features Jason, Donovan and Nicholas Goliath, Nina Hastie, Tats Nkonzo, Ntosh Madlingozi, Robby Collins, Yaseen Barnes, Carl Weber, KG Mokgadi and Tracey-Lee Oliver.

The excitement of seeing a city built to launch the new Volkswagen T-Cross at the Montecasino outdoor area has thousands of South Africans eager to see not only the new SUV, but all the experiences that are being created at T-Cross City.
What lives initially online as a virtual city will become a real-life version as audiences interact and engage with T-Cross City online.
