Carols at Kirstenbosch is one of Cape Town’s most-loved carols events. This year it takes place from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 December, 2019 and will be led by Cape Town Concert Brass and The Cape Town Male Voice Choir
So to make the most out of this outdoor event, grab a picnic blanket, round up some friends and family and enjoy an evening set against what is unmistakably one of the world’s most magnificent backdrops – Table Mountain.
Popular Xmas singalongs
Carols at Kirstenbosch will usher in the festive season with your favourite xmas singalongs, delicious food and the beautiful sight of thousands of glowsticks lighting up the evening sky.
It’s hosted by the Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch and sponsored by Pick n Pay, who is offering to make the entire experience as hassle-free and as enjoyable as possible.
Pre-order a picnic for two, comprising a sumptuous selection which will be ready for you when you arrive at the event. There’s also a special picnic just for littlies. If you’d rather decide what to eat on the evening, the Pick n Pay food truck will be onsite again this year, serving up options like king-size burgers, festive gammon rolls, and a tasty mushroom and brie burger with cranberry sauce as a veggie option.
In addition, there’ll be two coffee stations at the venue serving up coffees and hot beverages, and a snack selection, including hot dogs, mince pies, cupcakes, crisps and chocolates, mini candy canes, biltong, doughnuts and water.
Note: wine will not be on sale, so BYO.
