Plant-based food platform Infinite Café is creating inspired, unexpected plant-based meals. Spearheaded by Infinite Foods, the Cape Town restaurant is bringing consumers the food and flavours they love that are healthier and kinder to the planet.

The café also offers the chance to grab a plant-based item without having to go to the local grocery store. Food products are from the Infinite Foods portfolio, including Beyond Meat, Oatly and Happy Culture Kombucha.

“Infinite Café is about serving great food in a cool space. We often hear feedback that plant-based foods are only for vegans or vegetarians and that couldn’t be further from the truth. Our aim with Infinite Café is to create a traditional menu experience that no one would realise is 100% plant-based. We are here for everyone, whether you want to sit down and feast or grab your favourite product to make at home,” says Neil Taylor, COO of Infinite Foods.

The menu includes six unique burger builds made with the Beyond Burger,  pastrami sarmies made with Unreal Deli, bunny chow curries made with Indian brand Good Dot and delicious breakfast dishes featuring the newly arrived JUST Egg Folded.

Brewing Truth Coffee

Infinite Café is fighting for the top spot in Cape Town’s best coffee list, brewing Truth Coffee while creating latte art with Oatly Barista oat milk.  And if coffee isn’t your thing, the café also makes freshly squeezed juices or smoothies as the perfect refreshment on a warm summer’s day or a selection of Happy Culture kombuchas to choose from.

“At Infinite Café, we aim to provide guests their favourite meals without having them feel like meat or dairy is missing from the menu. It’s about tasting and feasting on various flavourful plant-based dishes made using fresh, wholesome ingredients – all kinder for you, and the environment.  We offer an easy-going eating experience for every taste.” says Executive Chef Bulelwa Sotshonoda.

Sotshonoda, a rising star in the Cape Town culinary scene is the chef at the helm alongside Judith Africa. The team describes the menu as a variety of modern yet classical dishes suitable for everyone. Both Sotshonoda and Africa were integral to conceptualizing the menu and bring depth of expertise to the Infinite Café kitchen with experience at some of Cape Town’s well-known restaurants, such as Jason’s Bakery, Vixxi Social Club and 4and20.
