To celebrate their 16th year creating alternative audio and visual experiences, Cape Town’s Terminatryx embarks on their 2018 Duality Tour – a series of shows revealing their many sides, from Cape Town to Gauteng across July to August 2018.
With alternative flavours running through rock, metal and Gothic, all bolted together with an industrial punch, over the years the Terminatryx band has made music on their own terms, always setting out to do something exciting.
The last year also saw the band go through another evolution, including scaling back to being a three-piece, and plans for a new (but not unfamiliar) expansion of the band’s sound.
Albums, DVDs, USB, videos
Respected for its longevity, the female-fronted band has released four albums, a DVD, various compilations (releases on CD, digital download and streaming, and limited editions including LP, cassette, USB format).
The group has performed across South Africa from clubs to festivals, as well as Germany (and selected to open for international acts like Ministry, VNV Nation and Diary Of Dreams). The band’s music videos have screened at international film festivals and won awards.
