Travellers can take note that popular Turkish Airlines has won three major categories in the TripAdvisor 2018 Travellers’ Choice Awards.
TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice in Europe
The airline, which flies to more destinations than any other, was voted both ‘Best Economy Class in Europe’ and ‘Best Business Class in Europe’, and it also received a special Travellers’ Choice ‘Major Airline in Europe’ accolade.
Quantity and quality of reviews
The TripAdvisor awards are based on the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings on the TripAdvisor site for airlines worldwide over a 12-month period.
Bryan Saltzburg, Senior Vice President and General Manager for TripAdvisor Flights, says they “recognise the carriers that exceed passenger expectations and receive top marks from travellers.”
Ahmet Olmuştur, Turkish Airlines Chief Marketing Officer, says the airline is honoured by the awards which “represent a valuable appreciation for our commitment to excellence and are a testament to the great efforts made by the entire Turkish Airlines family to turn our passengers’ flight experiences into exclusive and memorable journeys”.
