Recorded with renowned producer and songwriter Mojalefa Thebe, Thembalam features “heartfelt lyrics about trust and commitment which are a perfect fit for the season of love, weddings, and celebration,” says Zahara.
Signature gospel, Afro-pop groove
Thembalam also has Zahara’s signature gospel, Afro-pop groove – making it the perfect song for a perfect day.
The young star’s debut album, Loliwe, was released in 2011, and was certified double platinum only 17 days after release!. It went on to sell in excess of 100 000 copies, garnering 8 South African Music Awards (SAMA’s) on the way. This was followed by 4 SAMA’s for The Beginning Live.
